Take the “On Ramp” before Career Showcase

As you may already know, the big Career Showcase event is coming up on each Moraine Park Technical College campus on October 11th (West Bend), October 12th (Fond du Lac) and October 13th (Beaver Dam). This is an excellent opportunity to tour the campus, labs, and classrooms, and meet instructors and students. You will also be able to gather information about the various programs of study, college resources, student life, and support systems available to help you to be a successful student.

But what you may not know is there’s a special “On Ramp” session leading up to these big events as well – one that can help you visualize your road to success!Career Showcase will run on each campus between 4 – 6:30 pm on their respective days. So what is the “On Ramp” Session about?
On Ramp is a short session prior to Career Showcase on each campus from 3 – 4:15 pm that is held in a smaller room, and is also meant for prospective students. The difference is that On Ramp is meant to give a little extra detail in certain areas of the college including: Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, the Student Success Center, Disability Resources, Tutoring Services, Transition Services, and Career Services.
An expert from each department will speak for 5-10 minutes, helping prospective students visualize the application and financial aid process for themselves, and get a warm walk-through of the many support systems in place for student success.
If you are a prospective student who may require a little additional assistance in getting started at Moraine Park Technical College (or if you know someone!), this will be the perfect venue! Fond du Lac Campus: Wednesday, 10/12/16, Room 0-104
Beaver Dam Campus: Thursday, 10/13/16, Room K-202

Doors will open at 2:45 pm. The session will start promptly at 3:00 pm.
