Applications Being Accepted For Berger Book Scholarship!

Berger Book Bag

Moraine Park Technical College students can apply for a scholarship for books and necessary supplies, thanks to the generosity of community supporter Judith Berger O’Brien.

Berger O’Brien established the Berger Book Bag grant with the Moraine Park Foundation in memory of her husband, Joseph S. Berger, Jr., who passed away in 2010. The Bergers recognized the need for classroom essentials, like books and supplies, and that assistance with funding for these items was hard to come by.

“The Berger Book Bag grant is my way of honoring the Berger Family, who were past community leaders in Fond du Lac, by assisting the future leaders and workers of our community,” Berger said. “I am so proud of the efforts that Moraine Park students expend to create better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. “

The Berger Book Bag grant offers eligible students up to $300 per semester to use toward their books or academic supplies. Applications for the spring 2019 semester will be accepted through January 1, 2019. For more information on this scholarship or to apply, visit morainepark.edu/scholarship.
