The Moraine Park Foundation rolled out the red carpet for this year’s Gourmet Dinner last Friday (April 29) at our Fond du Lac campus. The theme “Bright Lights, Hollywood Nights” combined the nostalgia of 1950s fare with the ambiance of old Hollywood. Guests of the event, presented by the Moraine Park Culinary Arts program, enjoyed a six-course meal consisting of popular continental menu items from the ’50s with a little twist.

Moraine Park Technical College hosted its second-annual High School Welding Competition on Tuesday, May 3 at its Beaver Dam campus. Check out all some awesome pics from the event below. High school students from Horicon and West Bend took part, with students working in our lab to put the parts together and weld them in a timed, competitive environment. Continue reading

In this newspaper clipping from 1971, law enforcement officers “made their moves” during a one-day firearms school at Eldorado Marsh shooting range. The class was sponsored by Moraine Park Technical College and the Fond du Lac County Traffic Police Department. Around 40 law enforcement officers from around the state were in attendance. Moraine Park Technical College students and staff enjoyed end-of-the-year celebrations at its West Bend, Fond du Lac and Beaver Dam campuses this week. “Last Blast 2016” featured free lunch, games, giveaways and more. Also, entertainment was provided by comedian Louis Ramey.
