Are you looking to restart your college career after some time off or thinking about transferring to Moraine Park Technical College from your current college?? If so, don’t forget to bring along your college transcript.  MPTC now provides an Initial Transcript Review process  that allows potential students to have their transcripts reviewed free of charge.

Many students come to MPTC after accumulating some credits at another college or university.  We want to make sure those students know quickly how those credits might fulfill some of our program requirements here.  As MPTC’s Credit for Prior Learning Specialist, I have the ability to provide those students with a summary of how their previous college work will transfer into Moraine Park before they begin taking classes here.

Previous college work can be a valuable piece of the student’s education.  Applying transfer credits to a MPTC program of study can save the student both time spent in the classroom and money spent on tuition and fees.  Once those transfer credits are processed, students move that much closer to obtaining the MPTC associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate that they seek.  Click here for a complete list of MPTC program offerings: http://www.morainepark.edu/programs-and-courses/programs-of-study/  Best of all, it’s free, students can transfer up to 75% of the credits for a degree, diploma, or certificate into MPTC at no cost.

Anyone interested in programs at MPTC can request an Initial Transcript Review by emailing cpl@morainepark.edu and including their name, intended program of study, and attaching an unofficial copy of their college transcripts.  So check out Moraine Park Technical College and when you do, bring us your transcript!
