Dedication to Excellence Earns Recognition for Nursing Program

The communities we serve already know that the Nursing Program at Moraine Park creates some of the best professional Registered Nurses around – and now, the country knows!

Registered Nursing.org announced that our program had been ranked No. 2 in the state based on their statistical analysis of NCLEX first time pass rates over the past five years and beyond.

Nursing Program Faculty & Staff

The NCLEX-RN exam is used by all state boards of nursing in the US to assess for competency and licensure, it is a rigorous 75+ critical thinking exam.

At the side of Associate Dean Marylou Mercado, the 20+ nursing team members have diligently reviewed the program for areas of improvement and made innovative and timely changes to stay abreast of the changing needs of the students we serve.

Newly integrated nationally normed testing, computer resources, tutoring, mentoring and simulation all keep the program at peak performance.

The team has always felt pride and dedication to the program without such an honor, the success of our students has been the award- although, it sure feels great to have this feather in our nursing caps!!!!
