Thanks to Student Life, free donuts and snacks, social hours and plenty of laughs with performances from Comedian Adam Grabowski welcomed students back this week for the start of the Spring 2018 semester.

Student Life is responsible for campus activities and events, student government and clubs, leadership development, community service, volunteerism and awards. Getting involved in Student Life at Moraine Park allows students the opportunity to enhance and enrich their college experience. Student Life provides students the ability to meet new people, develop leadership skills, enhance their resume, and network and travel to conferences and competitions through student government and student clubs.

But did you know often times Student Life activities at our campuses aren’t just limited to just students?

Much of the great entertainment that Student Life arranges to visit our campuses is also open to the public. Comedian Adam Grabowski was once such public performer this week. He holds several impressive accolades, including:

  • 2015 APCA Comic of the Year
  • 2015 Best Comedy Performer
  • 2014 Entertainer of the Year Runner-Up
  • 2013 Comic of the Year – Youngest Winner Ever

And if you’ve been tuning into the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this month, you would have seen Comedian Pete Lee perform. He was at all of our campuses just a few weeks ago in Nov. 2017.

Most of these awesome events are usually $5 or less for the public to attend. To see what other upcoming fun events, performances and activities Student Life has planned for students, staff and the general public, keep an eye on  morainepark.edu/events!
