Moraine Park Goes International!

Ireland countryside Moraine Park Technical College students are gearing up to study abroad this spring. Their destinations? Germany and Ireland!

The first group, scheduled to leave May 20, will be headed to Ireland where they will participate in activities, classes, and local experiences. This trip is a collaboration of the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) and 25 other technical college students from across the state will travel with our six Moraine Park students on this week-long adventure. The Ireland study abroad experience has a business focus and students will not only get to sight-see some of the world’s most beautiful countryside, they will also get to learn collaboratively with other WTCS peers.

The second group, scheduled to leave May 27, will be headed to Germany. As Moraine Park’s only exchange program, students will get the opportunity to live within the German culture by staying with host families. This fall, the German students will come here to live in and experience our culture. This trip has a culinary focus and students participating will take cooking classes and learn about the German culture. They will also get the opportunity to travel and sight-see in Germany and Belgium.
