Moraine Park’s Nursing program will be implementing a new computerized testing program titled ExamSoft this Fall 2018 semester. All Nursing theory and skills courses will be utilizing this software for all tests/exams throughout the program.
The 2017-18 academic year is coming to a close for the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Moraine Park Technical College. The Nursing team held their final meeting on Friday, May 11, 2018, in Fond du Lac. They gathered for lunch prior to the meeting and shared all the great accomplishments that took place over the year. The team has much to celebrate!

The family of J. Patrick Barnes developed the DAISY Foundation in 1999, to show their deep appreciation for nurses who provided exceptional and compassionate care during the last few weeks of Barnes’ life. By developing this foundation, Barnes’ family gained closure and a great remembrance of their loved one.
The award concept blossomed tremendously and now nurses across the nation are receiving a touching and well-deserved recognition. Extraordinary nurses are presented the Daisy award after being nominated by patients who found their nursing care to be unique, empathic and above the norm. Continue reading
The West Bend Student Nurses Association raised $326 as a memorial for their beloved teacher, Deb Schmitz, and donated it to the Ozaukee Humane Society as she had requested.
Deb was born November 7, 1959 in Port Washington and passed away in May 2017. For the last 17 years of her life, Deb was a dedicated Clinical Nursing Instructor at Moraine Park Technical College and impacted many students. Continue reading
Eight more students recently successfully completed Moraine Park Technical College’s Nursing Assistant (CNA) boot camp–a rigorous three-week, 120 hour, 3 credit, learning experience. Students spent their clinical hours training at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. Continue reading
