The Moraine Park Technical College Donut Club was started in the Fall 2016 semester after a presentation from Lisa Manuell, who is one of our College’s awesome student life specialists. Lisa told our Composition 1 class that students could start just about any club on campus as long as they met certain criteria.
She told us she had even heard of a school in Minnesota that had a Donut Club! And just like that, the Moraine Park Donut Club was born! Continue reading

Knowing the need for stress-relief, Student Government set out to plan activities that would help alleviate some of the pressure that students face as they complete year-end projects and study for final exams. Courtney Hoffman recently moved to West Bend from Shawano seeking new job opportunities and an education. She has chosen to pursue the Business Management with emphasis on Management and Supervision degree at Moraine Park Technical College. Hoffman has had a positive experience at Moraine park with both online and face-to-face classes and stated that all of her instructors have been helpful, responsive and motivating. Continue reading

You’re not? Hmmm … well, I guess we’ll leave that to the pros, like hypnotist Chris Jones. He’s appeared on America’s Got Talent, and visited our campuses this week at Moraine Park to give several hilarious performances sponsored by our Student Senate groups. A large outpouring of faculty, staff and students turned out to witness the energetic, interactive fun.
