Wear Purple!

Purple Thursday, October 22, 2020 – is a nationwide day in support of those who have experienced Domestic Violence. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Last year, in the state of Wisconsin we lost 72 lives to domestic violence.

Moraine Park Community Impact Teams are partnering with Fond du Lac Prevention Education Committee to help educate our students and staff this October. Please join us for learning ZOOM webinars on Monday, October 19 or Tuesday, October 20 at noon.

Stop in at MPTC Techniques Salon October 19 or 21 from 7:30-11:30 for purple hair streaks! Freewill offerings will go to Solutions Center.

Check out the purple outdoor lighting at all 3 MPTC campuses on the evening of October 22. Light up your own front porch with a purple light if you are able!

In Fond du Lac, visit the downtown display in the area of Sheboygan and Main Street (across from Lillians). Artwork has been created by the women at Taycheedah Correctional. Display will be up from 10a.m. until 7p.m. on October 22.
