Giving Back: Service-Learning on Diversity at Boys and Girls Club

Students in Brenda Schaefer’s Sociology Course had an opportunity to visit the Fond du Lac Boys and Girls Club to share grade appropriate books and lessons on gender and cultural diversity.

The students also surprised the children with books for them to take home and share with their siblings.  This was a great event in which the students were able to share key points with others on diverse issues affecting us in our everyday lives.
