THROWBACK: Ready. Aim. Fire up the nostalgia.

Law enforcement picture from 1971

In this newspaper clipping from 1971, law enforcement officers “made their moves” during a one-day firearms school at Eldorado Marsh shooting range. The class was sponsored by Moraine Park Technical College and the Fond du Lac County Traffic Police Department. Around 40 law enforcement officers from around the state were in attendance.

Moraine Park continues to have strong partnerships with law enforcement. This past week, our College’s Corrections Club hosted the Milwaukee House of Correction K-9 Unit on Monday.

Check out these photos and a video of the unit’s German Shepherds and Labradors doing narcotic and cell phone demonstrations.

Our Criminal Justice-Corrections program is an accredited two-year associate of applied science degree program that prepares students for positions in a variety of corrections careers ranging from least restrictive settings, such as group homes, to highly restrictive maximum-security prisons.
