Moraine Park, along with The Beaver Dam Community Library and Wayland Academy, announce the second annual Global Fair set for Saturday, February 18, 2017. It will be held at Wayland Academy’s Lindsay Gym, 101 N. University Avenue in Beaver Dam.

This year’s theme is “Build a Better World.”

The Global Fair is free and open to the public from 1 to 4 pm with a variety of ethnic and globally diverse booths.

With Wayland Academy’s global diversity, students from around the world will be hosting cultural and heritage displays and demonstrations. Some of the countries included are China, Bavaria, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Turkey, Switzerland, Germany and more.

To round out the event, organizers are also welcoming statewide clubs and groups to host a booth, provide educational information, entertainment options, and history on different cultures and heritage.

The first annual joint global fair was held in April of 2016 as part of Beaver Dam’s 175th anniversary.

For more information or to reserve your free booth space, please contact Nicolle Schroeder, nschroeder8@morainepark.edu or support the fair by attending.

It is a wonderful, natural partnership between MPTC, Wayland and the Beaver Dam library.

There is something for everyone to enjoy! Check out some of fun from last year’s event:
