Nervous, Surprised, and Now Confident about her Education. Meet Jesse Lance.
“I was extremely nervous going back to school at the age of 38. Some people said it was a waste of time. Others said I wouldn’t make it. I worried the professors wouldn’t be understanding. Boy, was I wrong!
When I walked into class on my first day, I was totally surprised at how accommodating and understanding all my professors were. They were prepared to make everyone feel welcome and inviting. Not once did I feel left out or that I didn’t belong in that class. I needed this more than they could know.
I love walking into my classes each week and receiving a hello when I walk through the door. The professors are upbeat and engaging, keeping everyone’s attention while learning. I don’t think I’ve seen one person sleep through a class yet.
One of the professors I have had the opportunity to engage with is Dr. Rebecca Leichtfuss in the English Composition I course. I’ve gained valuable knowledge from this course with learning the four C’s of writing, the nine rules of comma usage, and, proper business email etiquette. I looked forward to attending this class every week.
In the end, I’m confident that great professors make for a great college and learning experience. MPTC is the way to go!”
