Meet Andrew Flatt

“I’m a second year student at Moraine Park Technical College in the Mechanical Design Technology program.  I’m interested in designing mechanical components and products for machines and equipment through computerized drawings for the manufacturing industry.

I value my education and I’m looking forward to being a contributor to making the world a better place… one part at a time.

My strongest personal characteristics are being a leader and a team player.  I try to be a visible role model by being respectful to teachers and other students.

I know the only way many organizations are able to thrive is through volunteers.  Because of this, I’ve helped at fish fries, brat fries, and pancake breakfasts for FFA, and scored for wrestling tournaments in high school.  I was also a server at the Moraine Park Gourmet Dinner.  I believe giving my time makes a difference.

After graduation, my goal is to incorporate my newly acquired designing skills to benefit the advancement of manufacturing.”
