christmas-in-a-shoebox being filled by volunteers

Moraine Park’s Beaver Dam campus just wrapped up its 2016 “Christmas in a Shoebox” drive. The drive’s goal was to gather and send 50 boxes of donations to troops overseas this holiday season. Its was organized by the Beaver Dam Student Senate, and roughly 100 different students helped at various points of the project.

That goal of 50 boxes?

Well, that was met – and then some. “Christmas in a Shoebox” ended up with a total of 140 boxes this year!

The success of the event came through expansive collaboration, with students, staff, faculty, Beaver Dam Student Senate, SVA, Bright Futures of Beaver Dam, as well as Support our Troops of Wisconsin helping out!
