STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: Katie Klettke
Katie Klettke is looking to make it big in her hometown of Ripon. She’s a cosmetology student here at Moraine Park, and here’s a little insight into her journey into this career field, in her own words:
Tell us about yourself:
My name is Katie and I am a graduate of Ripon High School and I am a very busy active person fresh out of high school.
What program have you studied at Moraine Park, and why?
Cosmetology, I decided to do this because I’m very hands on and love doing hair and makeup.
What are our plans after graduation?
I have been hired by Hair Today in Ripon as a stylist. I plan to make it big in Ripon and have a lot of clients.
What aspect of your education made the biggest impact on you?
Cosmetology I found out isn’t as easy as I thought at first, but it’s lots of fun and totally worth it.
What advice would you give someone considering college/your program?
Never give up and power through.
