Supplying a Solution

MPACTE members with household supply donations to Solutions Center

MPACTE (Moraine Park Association for Career & Technical Education) held a household supply drive throughout the month April 2016 in honor of Sexual Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. Local domestic abuse and homeless shelters were targeted as the recipients of these efforts. Each campus asked staff to donate household supply items the local shelters could utilize.

The Beaver Dam campus donated their boxes to PAVE, People Against A Violent Environment, Inc.

MPACTE Member Carrie Braskamp  and PAVE staff member, Carrie.

The West Bend campus donated their items to Friends of Abused Families, Inc.

The Fond du Lac campus donated their collection to Solutions Center Shelter and Support Services, Inc.

These organizations, and others like them, are always in need of support. Please consider donating, volunteering, or even spreading the message to help those in your community.

If you, or someone you know, are in need of assistance, please connect with an MPTC counselor, one of the organizations above, or call 911 in an emergency.

The mission of MPACTE is to provide leadership for the promotion and enhancement of high quality career and technical education, at all levels, in a diverse and changing economic, social and technical environment. MPACTE members love getting connected and having fun!  Each year we have community fundraisers, campus social events, contests, educational webinars, opportunities for legislative connections and networking, plus professional development.

If you would like to assist with an upcoming MPACTE event, please contact Katie Gindt, MPACTE CTE Month/Social Committee co-chair at kgindt@morainepark.edu.
