The Moraine Park Association for Career and Technical Education (MPACTE) honored six individuals for their dedication and professional excellence at Moraine Park Technical College during its annual awards banquet Feb. 23.

This year’s banquet was held at the College’s Fond du Lac campus. So, who took home awards?

Well … at the event, Katie Gindt of Fond du Lac was honored with the “Outstanding Support Professional” award. She serves as an administrative aide for Student Support Services and Diversity Relations departments. Julie Lotto of Fond du Lac, an accommodation specialist at the College, was named Outstanding CTE (Career and Technical Education) Leader. Amy Harmsen of Fond du Lac, who serves as an office technology and computer applications instructor, received the “Outstanding Instructor” honor. Electricity instructor Jeanette Boyle-Gustavus of Eden received the “New Instructor” award. The “Outstanding Member-Community Involvement” award went to Careers Instructor Rhonda Roehrig of Fond du Lac. And, taking home the “Longevity Award” was Donna Freund of Fond du Lac. Freund is payroll manager at the College, and has been employed at Moraine Park since 1992.
