895 combined years of service. Seriously.

Moraine Park Technical College’s 2017 Retirement and Service Recognition event on Friday, May 5, honored retirees and those who reached service anniversaries during the 2016-2017 academic year.

“We are grateful to these individuals for contributing so much to Moraine Park throughout their years of service with our College,” said Bonnie Baerwald, president of Moraine Park. “This year we had 174 combined years of service from our retirees and 895 combined years from our staff members that received service recognition awards.”

In all, 10 retirees and 70 staff members were recognized. Retirees included: Karen Coley of Juneau, adult career pathways manager; Stanley Cram of Fond du Lac, vice president – student affairs; Al Hanisch of Lomira, math instructor; Mary Krieger of Mayville; nursing instructor; Anne Millane of Mayville, student affairs grant coordinator; Annie Sabel of Fond du Lac, central scheduling specialist; Kenneth Sabel of Fond du Lac, housekeeper; Joan Seichter of Fond du Lac, office technology and computer applications instructor; Bonny Zuehlke of Theresa, housekeeper; Janet Kohlwey of Kewaskum, academic advisor.

Two staff members – Kenny Sabel of Fond du Lac and Mary Ann Schoenwetter of Beaver Dam – were recognized for 35 years of service. Gloria Arenz and Fred Rice, both of Fond du Lac, were recognized for 30 years of service. Staff members recognized for 25 years of service included Nadine Arndt, Bonnie Bauer, Donna Freund and JoAnne Henken, all from Fond du Lac.

Moraine Park also recognized 62 employees for service to the College at the 5-, 10-, 15- and 20-year levels. Below are some photos from the banquet.
