“The Boot Camps Made My Dream Come True!”
Moraine Park’s boot camps are three-month programs that prepare students for a career in welding or computer numerical control (CNC) machining. They aim to combat the current skilled worker shortage in the industry. Without the commitment of our business partners, this training wouldn’t be possible.
One requirement for the students in this program is that they must complete an internship with one of our business partners. These internships allow students to work alongside experts in the field, while they put what they are learning in the classroom to use in a manufacturing setting.
Are you or someone you know interested in signing up for our spring 2019 welding or CNC boot camp program? Your first step is attending an information and testing session. Registration is required. Visit https://mptcbootcamps.eventbrite.com to secure your spot today.
For more information, call (920) 924-3334 or e-mail bootcamps@morainepark.edu.
The current group of students graduated on Thursday, December 13.
We asked some of them to share their thoughts on the value the boot camp experience and internships have given them.
