What could be more hands-on than students working with local companies to fulfill their needs?
For the Market & Social Media Management program, this is part of their classroom experience! The spring session just completed a marketing plan for the Beacon, a non-profit organization in Fond du Lac. Their work included a full social media plan, which was approved by the company and is now a part of their company business plan.
“Allowing our students to use their skills in the field will help to ease the transition from the classroom to a career,” Sarah Ninmer, Moraine Park marketing instructor said. “I look forward to watching my students grow as a result of the skills they have gained.”
Currently, there are plans for the 2018-19 marketing students to work with a West Bend company to create a full marketing plan.
The world of marketing is ever evolving, and so is the Moraine Park marketing program. The Marketing & Social Media Management program offers a flexible and creative classroom environment. This degree can be completed online for interested individuals.
