The Business Professionals of America Club (BPA) recently traveled to their national competition held in Boston, Massachusetts.  Our Moraine Park Technical College students competed in Small Business Management Team, College Payroll Accounting and all of them participated in open competitions during the week of events.

The following students placed 3rd in Small Business Management Team:
Emily Goddard
Traci Lawrenz
Megan Lynch-Belzer
Joan Rider

Traci Lawrenz placed 3rd in Financial Math & Analysis, 4th in College Payroll Accounting and 7th in Administrator Support Concepts.

Megan Lynch-Belzer placed 8th in Business Meeting Management Concepts.

This year was the 50th Anniversary of the Business Professionals of America organization. Out students were among more than 5,000 attendees of this year’s BPA conference who had the opportunity to set a Guinness World Record for the most people being in one place wearing tie-dye.

Congratulations to all of the students who competed!
