The Moraine Park Association for Career and Technical Education (MPACTE) held their Annual Costume Contest on all the MPTC campuses Monday, October 31st. Students and staff were encouraged to dress up and Trick or Treat to a location at each of the campuses to have their photograph taken and receive a Fair Trade Chocolate treat.
The photos were added to an online voting platform and shared through MPTC’s social media channels for students, staff and the public to choose their three favorites. With over 40 contestants, the competition was fierce, but several groups and individuals moved to the top of the list.
Drum Roll Please….
Once in a while, I have an opportunity to exchange my business suit for something more casual. This time it happened to be a pumpkin costume!
Each year, the West Bend Early Childhood students and staff coordinate a family-friendly Halloween party for the children of students and staff. Every year has been a great success; this year was no exception.
Automotive, nursing and accounting students? Staff and students?
Maybe on any other night.
For one evening, though, Moraine Park’s West Bend campus was brimming with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pumpkins, princesses, Minions, Giraffes, super heroes and the occasional ghost.
That one evening took place Oct. 26, as Moraine Park Technical College hosted its annual family-friendly Children’s Halloween Party. Check out all the photos below from this year’s fun-filled event.
