The Moraine Park Foundation’s Garden Party Gourmet Dinner is sure to be an evening to remember. Guests are invited to dress in their favorite floral or spring attire, and will be entertained by local talent, bid on great auction items, and try their luck at our popular wine cork pull and heads-or-tails 50-50 raffle.

On September 28, 2017 twelve students successfully completed Moraine Park Technical College’s Medical Assistant second one year long training cohort at the West Bend Campus.
Funded by the U.S. Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career Training (TAACCCT) ACT 4 Healthcare Grant program, the Medical Assistant program at the West Bend Campus is condensing the 35 credit technical diploma program into a one-year cohort model including a set M,W, F schedule with a Friday lab time and intrusive advising for targeted student support. Here you can earn a GED, study for your nursing test, get help learning to write papers, and so much more! We have private study rooms and lots of resources to help you brush up on your skills. Britt has always been interested in doing hair and even though she had her children young, she said when her youngest went to school, so would she. And she DID! As we begin to look at options for a career, we may consider education, maybe on-the-job training, or self-study and activity, to prepare for a particular career of choice. There are many options available for the varying careers. One career field that sometimes is overlooked is related to water quality and water management. There are many career options in the water quality and water management fields. Becoming a professional in this career field can include formal education, on-the-job training, and even self- study. There are many paths into this interesting, highly-rewarding, sustainable, and dynamic career field.
An option that may be of interest to many people looking into careers in the field, is an Associate Degree in Water Quality Technology from Moraine Park Technical College. Moraine Park’s program is an accredited degree offered in an online format. We don’t often stop to think about where chocolate comes from, nor do we think about the farmers that grow and harvest cocoa beans to make the chocolate that we enjoy. The health news on chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is quite positive, and allows some guilt-free pleasure, after all! But not all chocolate is created equal, and educating students and staff about the differences in cocoa (also called cacao) bean farming was the end goal of the Fair Trade My Valentine event held on February 13th on all Moraine Park Technical College campuses.
