Joshua Montag has worked very hard since returning to school. Josh had a plan for his college education.
“My initial plan for myself during college was to find a really good internship and work my way up. Once I graduated, I was going to push to get hired or possibly search elsewhere for a career in IT. There are many avenues in the IT industry but not many companies hire without experience. This is why I actively searched for an internship.”

Moraine Park’s 2016 Great Pink Pumpkin 5K Run/Walk featured over 500 participants and raised more than $10,000 for Breast Cancer Recovery and student scholarships.
Breast Cancer Recovery is an organization whose mission is to provide environments for women with breast cancer survivors to heal emotionally.
The third annual Great Pink Pumpkin Run was held Oct. 15 at the College’s Fond du Lac campus. Co-chairs Brenda Schaefer, Moraine Park social science instructor, and Jeff Stueber, business management instructor, said they’re thankful for the support the event received in raising both awareness and funds for a good cause. Moraine Park Technical College recently hosted a “Use of Force Simulator” demonstration for local law enforcement and corrections agencies.
The event was organized by our College’s Criminal Justice-Corrections program.
The “Use of Force Simulator” is a tool that allows Moraine Park’s students to respond to real-life crisis scenarios in a simulated, virtual environment. Users are able to hold firearms and other instruments while navigating a simulated scenario projected on a screen. Continue reading

For one evening, though, Moraine Park’s West Bend campus was brimming with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pumpkins, princesses, Minions, Giraffes, super heroes and the occasional ghost.
That one evening took place Oct. 26, as Moraine Park Technical College hosted its annual family-friendly Children’s Halloween Party. Check out all the photos below from this year’s fun-filled event.
