Recently, 18 students in our Entry Level Firefighter 1 class, hosted by the Town of Fond du Lac Fire Department (TFDL FD), participated in a skills practice day. This day is designed to practice skills needed in the field and for State certification.
Moraine Park Technical College’s student senate is hosting a free public event with Green Bay Packer legend Jerry Kramer. Students, staff, and community members are invited to the Fond du Lac campus commons area, on Tuesday, April 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., to listen to the two-time Super Bowl champion’s story.
Across the country, there are millions of college students striving to be a better version of themselves. However, if you walk the hallways of any of the three Moraine Park campuses you will see a robust list of student names on the wall. If you’re wondering, there are 1,163 to be exact. (Yes, I counted.)

There are many options available for the varying careers. One career field that sometimes is overlooked is related to water quality and water management. There are many career options in the water quality and water management fields. Becoming a professional in this career field can include formal education, on-the-job training, and even self- study. There are many paths into this interesting, highly-rewarding, sustainable, and dynamic career field.
